So in conclusion with the soupa doopa blankets and soups me and my fifi has given one of our friends a blanket and soup. If you look below, the blanket with all the bright colors? That was matched with my fifi's soup, which was a roasted red pepper coconut soup. The brightness and zesty flavors of the soup matched the flare of the blanket quite nicely. My friend invited people over and we partook on his soup which was divine! I personally don't like coconut, but this was SOOO good. Everyone held their bowls blowing over it like they were protecting a little child and whispering slight breaths to cool it down as the thick liquid dripped down our throats, creating a warming sensation to fight the negative 8 degree temps of Chicago.
I LOVED THAT SOUP! The next soup (but it's really a stew) that has been requested is Pasole-A Mexican classic and favorite, an American anomaly (people don't know about that red chile sauce and hominy! TO DIE FOR!)
