Let me blanket you with warmth and soup

I sat in my house this weekend with a blanket that I was crocheting resting on my lap and the cold frigid air was blowing through my window (through a crack that should have been fixed by our landlord...), but I didn't care as my hands were working with the yarn creating something magnificent. All kinds of colors spilled across my lap and a small smile crept at my lips in my meditative state.

Now, I've made the decision that I'm am going to sell my goods. I am going to sell the things that I spend hours upon hours slaving at for months. I say this abruptly because I feel like it's breaking the creed of knitters or crocheters. You usually just make things and give them away and get a little 'thank you' in return, a little thank you when people have no idea what you have just given them. You have given them a little piece of you that you have created and all you get is a meager 'thanks'.

The same goes for my fiance who is a cook. He makes wonderful soups and dishes and the only thing he gets in return is 'thanks'. Luckily he has a fiance who makes orgasmic sounds when I eat so he really really knows how much I appreciate his work.

So in conclusion, the guilt is done. We are going to charge for what we love to do. We are going to get our currency dang it, and we will still receive our smiles and 'thanks' in return with a little moolah in our pockets. :) We hope we can put a smile on your face too!
